About The Position

Building Connections Behavioral Health is hiring a clinic-based Behavior Interventionist (Registered Behavior Technician) for its Antioch, California clinic. The role supports children ages 0–21 in developing communication, social, play, and life skills through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The interventionist works one-on-one with children as part of a collaborative team in a fun, safe, and supportive environment.

The stated schedule is weekdays from 12:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The position is part-time, with the potential to become full-time. Pay is $22–$27 per hour, depending on experience, certification, and education. The employer offers paid training to earn RBT certification, BCBA supervision, and professional development and career-growth opportunities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Passion for working with children and helping them thrive.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• Required immunizations: MMR, Tdap, Varicella, and Hep B, and TB clearance within one year.

Nice To Haves

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification, or willingness to obtain the certificate within 90 days.
• Experience working with children on the autism spectrum.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized ABA therapy in the clinic.
• Implement skill-building programs and collect data to track progress.
• Teach communication, self-help, social, and play skills.
• Engage and motivate children through play-based activities.
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and positive environment.
• Report progress and collaborate with the supervising team.
