About The Position

Behavior Intervention Specialist roles for the 2026-2027 school year. Support 3-4 school sites within the district. In-person, full-time roles (37.5 paid hours per week) and part-time roles (18 paid hours per week). BCBA OR Tier 3 or 4 Special Education Teaching license required. Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or Related Field
• Active Minnesota Special Education Teacher license through PELSB (Tier 3 or 4) OR Active BCBA license in Minnesota
• Must pass a background check and drug screening

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working in the classroom setting is preferred

Responsibilities

• Consult and implement positive behavior interventions and supports for the students
• Conduct functional behavior assessments
• Consult, communicate, and work cooperatively with teams to provide appropriate programming for students
• Implement positive behavior interventions and supports to support student progress, reinforcing positive behaviors, utilizing de-escalation techniques, and redirecting inappropriate behaviors
• May be required to use restrictive procedures
