About The Position

Hope Human Services is expanding its Mobile Diversion Services to include locations between Tacoma & Vancouver. Mobile Diversion is a short-term stabilization service. Our primary goal is stabilizing the individual in their current environment to avoid restrictive placements such as psychiatric holds, hospitals, incarceration, etc. Mobile Diversion utilizes a combination of wraparound teams, support training/coaching, individual skill building, resource development, crisis management training, and other individualized interventions to achieve stabilization. Our work is challenging and rewarding! We are a premier provider of Residential Services in Washington State with a focus on high quality, individualized, caregiving services for adults with Developmental & Intellectual Disabilities.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Have experience with individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities, in Supported Living, Community Protection, and/or Crisis Diversion is preferred
  • Have an Associate or Bachelors Degree in Human Services or related field preferred (Behavior analysis, psychology, education or related discipline).
  • Have one year experience as a qualified Behavioral Specialist/Trainer/Relevant license highly preferred i.e. BCaBA, RBT, etc.
  • Must be able to travel to various program locations and work flexible hours which can include evenings and weekends depending on the needs of the individuals we support
  • Proof of vehicle insurance and an acceptable driving record
  • Able to pass federal and state background checks and maintain clearance during employment
  • Ability to interface with multiple data collection systems (e.g. Therap, ALP, Microsoft Forms, etc.)
  • Associate (Required)
  • Behavioral health: 1 year (Required)
  • Driver's License (Required)

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Focus on reviewing collected data and participating in collaboration meetings and indirect resource, program, and plan development
  • Responsible for the implementation of supports around clinical and behavioral support needs for the individuals we serve, including plans for individuals we support with complex care needs
  • Works collaboratively with all other disciplines to ensure all needs are met for the individuals
  • Responsible for supporting the clinical team in the development of specific support plans, and other plans and protocols as needed
  • Attend and demonstrate the Green Zone, Ukeru, and Right Response training
