About the Role: As a Behavior Health Technician, you'll work one-on-one with children and adolescents in community settings. You'll help build communication, social, emotional, and behavioral skills while making a lasting impact on the lives of youth and their families. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between service locations
  • Commitment to helping children and families achieve their goals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently while remaining a part of a team

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with children or adolescents in any capacity, including: Childcare, Daycare, Teaching or educational settings, coaching or sports programs, summer camps, youth programs, Behavioral health or human services, mentoring or volunteer work with youth
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one support to children and adolescents in home, school, daycare, and community settings
  • Help children build communication, social, emotional regulation, and problem-solving skills
  • Support positive behavior change using strategies taught through our ABA training program
  • Follow individualized treatment plans created by clinical supervisors
  • Collaborate with families, teachers, and treatment team members to support client success
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with clients and their support systems
  • Collect and document session data and progress notes accurately and promptly
  • Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and team meetings
  • Travel between client locations throughout the community
