About The Position

As a Behavior Health Technician, you'll work one-on-one with children and adolescents in community settings. You'll help build communication, social, emotional, and behavioral skills while making a lasting impact on the lives of youth and their families. This role is part of the Intensive Behavioral Health Services program.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between service locations
Commitment to helping children and families achieve their goals

Nice To Haves

Experience working with children or adolescents in any capacity, including: Childcare, Daycare, Teaching or educational settings, coaching or sports programs, summer camps, youth programs, Behavioral health or human services, mentoring or volunteer work with youth
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently while remaining a part of a team

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one support to children and adolescents in home, school, daycare, and community settings
Help children build communication, social, emotional regulation, and problem-solving skills
Support positive behavior change using strategies taught through our ABA training program
Follow individualized treatment plans created by clinical supervisors
Collaborate with families, teachers, and treatment team members to support client success
Build positive, trusting relationships with clients and their support systems
Collect and document session data and progress notes accurately and promptly
Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and team meetings
Travel between client locations throughout the community
