About The Position

Gemma Services has an IBHS program operating out of our new Mt. Airy location. Gemma Services is known for its quality programs that promote safety and nonviolence while cultivating a caring environment in a diverse and inclusive environment. Gemma Services strives to create a community that promotes recovery from trauma for the children and families that we serve. This part-time position requires working at least 15 hours a week and offers generous benefits. In this role, you will assist children/adolescents primarily in Northeast Philadelphia. You will be part of a dynamic team with Behavior Consultants and Mobile Therapists to create positive behavior change and improved day to day functioning for the identified youth!

Requirements

Have a high school diploma and have completed the RBT task list training
Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in the provision of behavioral health and completed the RBT task list training

Responsibilities

Work with children/adolescents one-on-one in the school setting implementing behavioral health interventions as documented in the treatment plan.
Train the school staff to implement the interventions described in the treatment plan.
Collaborate with the child’s’ family as needed.
Collaborate with the other team members such as Behavior Consultant, Mobile Therapist and school staff.
Receive regular supervision to increase knowledge and competency in delivering interventions.
Collect data on identified behaviors to support progress with treatment.
Document services provided in the agency Electronic Medical Record
