About The Position

Gemma Services has an IBHS-ABA program operating out of our Mt. Airy location. Gemma Services is known for its quality programs that promote safety and nonviolence while cultivating a caring environment in a diverse and inclusive environment. As a Behavior Health Technician-ABA, you will work with children/adolescents diagnosed with Autism one-on-one in the school setting implementing ABA interventions documented in the treatment plan. Minimum weekly billable requirement. Billable hours will be obtained during school holidays by providing services in the child’s home or in the community. You will train the school staff to implement the interventions described in the treatment plan, collaborate with the child’s’ family as needed, and collaborate with the other team members such as Behavior Consultant-ABA, Mobile Therapist and school staff. You will receive regular supervision to increase knowledge and competency in delivering interventions and receive training specific to ABA interventions. You will collect data on identified behaviors to support progression in treatment and document services provided in the agency Electronic Medical Record. In this role, you will assist children/adolescents assigned to you across the City of Philadelphia. You will be part of a dynamic team with Behavior Consultants-ABA and Mobile Therapists to create positive behavior change and improved day to day functioning for the identified youth! Requirements

  • Have a high school diploma and have completed the RBT task list training.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in the provision of behavioral health and completed the RBT task list training

Nice To Haves

  • Available BCBA supervision that meets BACB requirements to work towards RBT certification

Responsibilities
