About The Position

The Arc of Washington County is seeking clinicians with active BCBA certification, LBA, LCPC, LCSW-C, or Registered Psychology Associate in Maryland to join their mission-driven team. The organization has been changing lives since 1952 and supports adults with intellectual & developmental disabilities. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact and have a voice in program development.

Requirements

  • Active BCBA (or equivalent MD licensure)
  • Minimum 1 year writing behavior support plans
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to pass background checks
  • Physical ability to meet role requirements
  • Willingness to attend paid specialized training (M–F, 8:30–5:00 PM) and Initial Two Week Orientation Training (M–F, 8:30–5:00 PM)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional behavioral assessments and develop behavior plans utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Provide training to staff and caregivers
  • Monitor the implementation of behavior plans, evaluate effectiveness, and make revisions as needed
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
  • Empower individuals with disabilities to live fuller, more independent lives
