About The Position

Work with students throughout the school day in the alternative learning class at Knox Middle School. The class supports students with significant social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. Work closely with the teacher and other staff to support students’ educational and emotional needs and help ensure those needs are met. Maintain classroom policies and provide other student academic support services as applicable. The role calls for a team-oriented, student-centered approach and a belief that all students can succeed.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Complete and pass a background check.
• Flexibility and ability to work well with others.

Nice To Haves

• Some post-secondary education is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working in an education setting is preferred.
