About The Position

Genesee Lake School, a MyPath Company, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join their Education team. This role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized, evidence-based behavioral supports in partnership with education and therapeutic teams. The position combines hands-on clinical work, collaboration, and system-level influence to shape both individual student outcomes and broader program success. The Behavior Analyst will also coach staff, improve systems, and advance trauma-informed, data-driven practices across the school. Requirements

  • BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) certification required or eligibility within 6 months of hire.
  • Eligible for Wisconsin Behavior Analyst licensure within 6 months.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience (3+ years preferred) working with individuals with autism or related disabilities.
  • Experience supporting children, adolescents, or young adults with emotional, behavioral, or developmental needs.
  • Strong understanding of PBIS and EMLSS frameworks in educational settings.
  • Ability to interpret and apply data to improve outcomes.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices.
  • Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Active driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience working with individuals with autism or related disabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a clinical consultant on behavior analysis across all school settings for Day School students, to ensure behavioral strategies are applied with consistency and fidelity, and rooted in trauma-informed care.
  • Exercises independent clinical judgment in the application of behavior analytic practices, consistent with BACB ethical standards and state regulations.
  • Ensures all behavior analytic recommendations are aligned with therapeutic, medical, and educational interventions through an integrated care framework to promote holistic day school student outcomes.
  • Conducts Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) in collaboration with IEP teams.
  • Develops and guides implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans using function-based strategies.
  • Maintains clear, timely, and audit-ready documentation.
  • Uses data to monitor progress, adjust interventions, and drive decision-making.
  • Supports PBIS and EMLSS frameworks with proactive, preventative strategies.
  • Helps strengthen systems, tools, and processes that improve consistency and outcomes for students.
  • Supports implementation of the EMLSS framework by actively participating in tiered support meetings, providing data-informed recommendations.
  • Models behavioral strategies in real time by working directly with students when appropriate, using these opportunities to coach staff, demonstrate best practices, and build staff confidence in applying interventions independently.
  • Delivers advanced trainings and professional development to improve staff competencies.
  • Engages in company-provided ongoing professional development to remain current with advances in behavior analysis and related fields to strengthen best practices and contribute to organizational growth.
  • Contributes to the development of crisis-intervention protocols to ensure high-intensity behaviors are managed safely and ethically.
  • Supports MyPath's restraint-reduction initiatives by collaborating with school staff and residential team members, identifying preventative and proactive supports for future implementation.
  • Participates in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions.
  • Partners with teachers and staff to create supportive, accessible learning environments.
  • Collaborates across MyPath programs to share knowledge and best practices.
