About The Position

Devereux - Florida is seeking a compassionate individual to join their team as a Behavior Analyst. This position is responsible for the development and implementation of the clients master treatment plan, works within a multidisciplinary team to review the clients treatment and goals, and assesses progress and future needs. Behavior Analysts are over the assessment and discharge planning process to establish goals for the reduction in challenging behavior, instruction in functionally equivalent responses, and functional communication. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in the field of behavior analysis, mental health, social work, psychology, rehabilitation, special education, or a human services field required
  • Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) required
  • 1+ years experience developing and performing behavioral assessments and evaluating individual or unit wide programs required
  • Valid Florida driver's license
  • Must be able to commit to a two-week, paid new hire orientation class; hours are approximately 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday - Friday each day (located near the International airport in Orlando)
  • Successfully pass pre-employment medical screenings which include: Drug Test and TB Test.
  • Successfully pass a Level 2 background screening with the State of Florida.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree preferred
  • Experience working with children and adolescent populations preferred
