About The Position

Join Kamaʻāina Kids as a Before School Group Leader and help create calm, engaging, and supportive mornings for keiki before the school day begins. This role is perfect for dependable, caring, and energetic individuals who value consistency, connection, and the power of a strong start. As a Group Leader, you’ll be part of a collaborative, supportive team that values professionalism, creativity, and genuine care for children and their ʻohana.

Requirements

• You genuinely enjoy working with children
• You’re reliable, patient, and team-oriented
• You bring a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
• Available weekday mornings, Monday–Friday

Nice To Haves

• Experience with kids is helpful—but not required

Responsibilities

• Welcoming children and helping them transition into the school day
• Leading morning games, quiet activities, and enrichment experiences
• Supporting positive behavior and social skills
• Building respectful relationships with children and families
• Creating a safe, inclusive, and calm environment
• Collaborating with teammates to keep mornings running smoothly
