About The Position

Child Focus is seeking caring, energetic individuals to join their Before & After School Program team serving children in Kindergarten through 5th Grade. The position also requires partnering with team members to provide a high-quality experience for children and families. Child Focus is a GOLD STAR rated Step Up to Quality Program and provides high quality early childhood services.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma and a Minimum of two year working with school age children, or Associates Degree in related field or four college courses in early childhood with experience with school age children.
  • Driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • Must register with OCCRRA upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Meet requirements of and perform duties of a Center Administrator according to DCY regulations.
  • Supervise Before and After School Assistants when Program Coordinator is not on site.
  • Create a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment for school-age children.
  • Facilitate games, enrichment activities, crafts, and group experiences.
  • Encourage positive social interactions and support emotional growth.
  • Foster learning through creativity, exploration, and relationship-building.
  • Support children’s independence, confidence, and success.
  • Partner with team members to provide a high-quality experience for children and families.
