Before and After School Program Administrator
About The Position
Child Focus Early Learning is seeking caring, energetic individuals to join their Before & After School Program team serving children in Kindergarten through 5th Grade. The role involves creating a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment for school-age children, facilitating games, enrichment activities, crafts, and group experiences, encouraging positive social interactions and supporting emotional growth, fostering learning through creativity, exploration, and relationship-building, supporting children's independence, confidence, and success, and partnering with team members to provide a high-quality experience for children and families. Child Focus is a GOLD STAR rated Step Up to Quality Program and provides high quality early childhood services.
Requirements
- High School Diploma and a Minimum of two year working with school age children, or Associates Degree in related field or four college courses in early childhood with experience with school age children.
- Driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- Must register with OCCRRA upon hire.
- Meets the basic requirements of a local child care regulatory agency.

Responsibilities
- Meet requirements of and perform duties of a Center Administrator according to DCY regulations.
- Supervise Before and After School Assistants when Program Coordinator is not on site.
- Create a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment for school-age children.
- Facilitate games, enrichment activities, crafts, and group experiences.
- Encourage positive social interactions and support emotional growth.
- Foster learning through creativity, exploration, and relationship-building.
- Support children's independence, confidence, and success.
- Partner with team members to provide a high-quality experience for children and families.
