About The Position

The Learning Experience is seeking a passionate and dedicated Before and After School Teacher to create a positive, safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children. The teacher will help children learn, play, grow, and thrive academically and emotionally, implementing the company’s proprietary L.E.A.P. curriculum and using its characters to make learning fun. The role includes building relationships with families and colleagues and regularly communicating with parents about children’s activities and achievements through mobile apps and personal discussions. The schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Applicable state licensing requirements apply. The Learning Experience’s curriculum focuses on six ages and stages of early childhood development and uses hands-on learning activities that encourage children to explore and solve problems at their own rate of development.

Requirements

Genuine passion for the education and care of children.
At least six months of professional teaching experience is required.
High school diploma or GED is required.
Meet applicable state licensing requirements.

Nice To Haves

One year of professional teaching experience.
An associate degree or higher in early childhood education (ECE) or a related field.
