About The Position

AlphaBEST Education Site Director - Before & After School Program. AlphaBEST believes in the power of wonder to connect students to a world of endless possibilities. We're looking for leaders like you to be the Captain of our team! This role is located at various schools within the Hillsboro School District. The schedule is Monday-Friday from 1:30 pm/2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, with no weekends. Pay is $24.00-$27.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. Full-time benefits are available, including health, dental, vision, disability benefits, retirement, life insurance, and paid time off. Requirements

Must have a Bachelor's degree (in a related field) or equivalent experience
Must be at least 21 years old
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by Oregon childcare licensing regulations (CBR #)
Provide proof of experience as required by OR childcare licensing standards

Responsibilities

Lead a fun and dedicated team of Guides that deliver excitement to our student Explorers in fitness, the arts, technology, and more!
Work collaboratively with peers and the Leadership Team to manage all aspects of the program site.
Train AlphaBEST Guides on how to lead adventurous tasks that ignite children's sense of wonder.
Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by establishing clubs that build on students' interests and talents.
Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive relationships among staff, children, parents, and the school are fostered at your program site.
