Before/After School Group Leader
About The Position
AlphaBEST Education is seeking an early learning professional to serve as a Before/After School Group Leader for the 2026-2027 school year. This role involves leading a group of students through various daily curriculum activities including World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts. The ideal candidate will prioritize child safety, maintain a clean and organized environment, and foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere. This position is located at Painted Sky Elementary School and Innovation Academy in Oro Valley, AZ. The schedule is Monday to Friday, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, with potential for slight variations, and no weekend work is required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
- 18+ years old
- Must be registered (or become registered) and have full clearance from the AZ childcare licensing agency
Nice To Haves
- Six months of verifiable childcare experience is preferred
- One year child care experience in a classroom setting is preferred
