About The Position
AlphaBEST is seeking a Before & Afterschool Program Site Director to lead a team and manage program sites in Independence, Kenton County, Kentucky. This role focuses on creating an adventurous and engaging environment for students through activities in fitness, the arts, technology, and more. The Site Director will foster positive relationships with staff, children, parents, and school personnel, ensuring a caring, family-oriented atmosphere.
Requirements
- Must have HS diploma, Bachelors or Associates in Education or a child development field.
- 1 year experience in a classroom setting (in a licensed facility) or group setting with at least 15 students.
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
- Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by state childcare licensing regulations
Responsibilities
- Lead a fun and dedicated team of Guides that deliver excitement to our student Explorers in fitness, the arts, technology, and more!
- Work collaboratively with peers and the Leadership Team to manage all aspects of the program site.
- Train AlphaBEST Guides on how to lead adventurous tasks that ignite children's sense of wonder.
- Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by establishing clubs that build on students' interests and talents.
- Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, parent, and school relationships are fostered at your program site.
