About The Position

AlphaBEST Education is seeking a Before/After School Site Director I to manage the daily operations of their after-school program at Lakeview Elementary School. The role focuses on creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for children, overseeing curriculum, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with licensing requirements. This position offers hands-on experience and training for individuals interested in education, leadership, or related fields.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• CPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)

Nice To Haves

• Additional education preferred
• At least 3 years of experience in a school-age program or teaching setting preferred
• Demonstrated experience in team leadership and supervision preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the site: schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentation
• Oversee/facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations
• Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards
• Make child safety the top priority at all times
• Maintain licensing compliance, documentation, and readiness for inspections
• Track and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirements
• Supervise and mentor your site team, providing coaching and feedback, and ensuring training requirements are met
• Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events
• Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success
