About The Position

The Beer Sales Trainee works to ensure the successful sale and distribution of all products in the TJ Sheehan portfolio throughout the assigned territory. The role focuses on developing new business at current no-buy accounts, building customer relationships, selling and placing craft products, merchandising accounts, and meeting monthly business activity goals. The listed pay range is $40,000 to $45,000, plus monthly bonus potential. The person in this role will live in or around the assigned area and work independently.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in marketing, sales, or management.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Live in or around the assigned area.
Valid and clean driver’s license.
Ability and willingness to work independently.
Cicerone Beer Server Certification, or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain effective customer relations and promote the goodwill of the company.
Ensure products are rotated and code policy is followed.
Sell, distribute, and place craft products.
Merchandise accounts using permanent and paper point-of-sale materials.
Collect accounts receivable in accordance with corporate credit policy.
Conduct promotions in accounts regularly or as required.
Develop new accounts and new product placements.
Organize and execute floor displays and place window neons and banners at accounts.
Handle customer inquiries about credit, delivery, product information, and other matters as they arise.
Execute monthly goals related to business activities.
Maintain a regular schedule of weekly appointments with accounts in the assigned area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
