About The Position

Superior Beverage Group is a proud, family-owned company that has been delivering beverages across Northeastern and Central Ohio since 1922. The delivery team is crucial to their operation, ensuring beer and wine reach their destinations safely and on time. As a Sales Merchandiser, you will be the face of the brand in retail locations, responsible for ensuring products are fresh, well-displayed, and ready to delight customers. This role involves close collaboration with Account Managers and Delivery Drivers to execute merchandising plans and maintain strong relationships with retail partners. This position offers impactful work by ensuring favorite beverages are always fresh and beautifully displayed, fosters team spirit within a collaborative and supportive environment, and provides growth opportunities in sales, operations, or administration. It is an active, hands-on, physical role that keeps you moving and engaged throughout the day.

Requirements

A strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Physical stamina to lift and maneuver products regularly.
A commitment to customer service and teamwork.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
Ability to lift 35-pound cases and maneuver 168-pound kegs.
Familiarity with basic hand tools and equipment dollies.
Strong organizational and time management skills.

Nice To Haves

Previous sales or merchandising experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain eye-catching product displays using current promotional materials.
Rotate inventory to ensure freshness and proper shelf placement.
Collaborate with Account Managers and Delivery Drivers to execute sales and merchandising strategies.
Address customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
Monitor pricing and report discrepancies to the appropriate team members.
Promote a positive company image through excellent service and relationship-building.
