About The Position

The Bed Group Leader performs general housekeeping and waste disposal throughout the shift, prepares and cleans forms, and collects and prepares materials as directed. The role reads blueprints and shop tickets, identifies and reports shop ticket errors, and measures and marks locations for item placement in forms. The employee may direct or assist with concrete pours, raking, screeding, and leveling concrete, and operates equipment such as hoists, overhead cranes, hand tools, and power tools. The role must follow all Metromont and OSHA safety rules and regulations.

• 1–2 years of previous general construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping and waste disposal throughout the shift.

• Direct or assist with concrete pours as needed.
• Direct or assist with raking, screeding, and leveling concrete as needed.
• Operate equipment such as hoists, overhead cranes, hand tools, and power tools.
• Adhere to Metromont and OSHA safety rules and regulations.
