About The Position

The Bed Bug Technician provides pest control related services to the prevention and eradication of bed bugs.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Must have a clean background
• Must have a valid NC driver's license with a good driving record
• Must be able to lift, load, unload and setup heavy equipment (heaters, cables, etc.)
• Standing, walking, moving objects, climbing stairs, carrying, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in pest control is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Evaluates situations by inspecting conditions; identifying additional problems; determining causes; analyzing treatment and prevention options; and executing the proper treatment
• Works with the team to unload, setup, and monitor specialized heat equipment and fans in homes and commercial facilities to provide treatment for bed bugs
• Performs detailed inspections to locate and identify pest problems
• Performs other pest control related tasks as directed (cross training provided)
• Completes records by recording the required information
• Maintains quality results by adhering to company standards
• Maintains safe work habits by following company standards
• Resolves customer dis-satisfactions by investigating complaint and identifying solutions
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
