About The Position

The Beauty Manager at JCPenney is responsible for understanding the levers and indicators that affect the Beauty business and coaching their team to deliver an amazing shopping experience for their clients. This role involves leading a team, analyzing business performance, supporting talent management, making visual merchandise decisions, assisting clients, and supporting the execution of monthly animations.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading your team – providing frequent coaching/feedback, focusing on differentiating performance, empowering the team, setting expectations, motivating the team, and recognizing individual contributions.
  • Responsible for analyzing business performance – reviewing reports and information to understand business performance and taking action to improve it.
  • Supports Talent Management process – actively searching for and approaching talent in the market for openings.
  • Responsible for making visual merchandise decisions – ensuring merchandise is presented to visual standards and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Responsible for assisting clients – interacting with clients to ensure their needs are met and they have a positive experience.
  • Supports the execution of the monthly animation – planning for new merchandise design and set to ensure an engaging shopping experience for the client.
