About The Position

The Beauty Manager at JCPenney is responsible for understanding the levers and indicators that affect the Beauty business and coaching their team to deliver an amazing shopping experience for their clients. This role involves leading a team, analyzing business performance, making visual merchandising decisions, assisting clients, and supporting the execution of monthly animations.

Responsibilities

  • Leading your team by providing frequent coaching and feedback, differentiating performance, empowering the team, setting expectations, motivating the team, and recognizing individual contributions.
  • Analyzing business performance by reviewing reports and other information to understand daily performance and taking action to improve it.
  • Supporting the Talent Management process by actively searching for and approaching great talent in the market for openings.
  • Making visual merchandise decisions to ensure the store is clean and visually stimulating, and that all merchandise is presented to visual standards.
  • Assisting clients by interacting with new and returning customers to ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Supporting the execution of monthly animations by planning and providing direction for new merchandise set-ups to ensure an engaging client shopping experience.
