Beauty Concierge - Alderwood Mall
About The Position
The Beauty Concierge is detail oriented, results driven, and committed to providing outstanding customer service. The role assists customers with cosmetic inquiries and products, provides information and directions about the cosmetics area, supports store operations as a general resource for customers and employees, maintains confidentiality, and makes deliveries to customers. The position requires continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift, frequent use of hands, and handling merchandise and bulky or awkwardly shaped items. Employees regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. The hourly pay range is $22.55–$23.45, with pay dependent on location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The position may be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with coworkers and customers.
- Ability to suggestively sell and connect customers to salespeople.
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching to handle merchandise and assist customers.
- Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
- Ability to handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, including reaching for and lifting them above the head.
- Ability to regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Greet and direct customers.
- Assist customers with cosmetic inquiries, products, and a variety of other services.
- Use knowledge of the cosmetics area to provide customers and employees with information and directions.
- Support store operations as a general resource for customers and employees.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Make deliveries to customers.
