About The Position

The Beauty Advisor will be responsible for achieving retail sales goals and providing fragrance service to clients, while developing client relationships to build repeat sales and brand loyalty. This role involves providing full-range customer service, including product information, sales, and execution of in-store events. The advisor will ensure all customer interactions are courteous, cordial, and professional, and maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented retail counter area and products. Responsibilities include meeting retail sales plan objectives, tracking productivity, answering customer inquiries about Guerlain products, providing consultations on cosmetic shades, skin treatment, makeup application, artistry, and fragrance. The role also involves resolving customer issues via various communication channels, maintaining a client registration program, sustaining customer relationships, and generating new business through regular communication. Adherence to all retailer policies and practices is required, along with performing special projects and miscellaneous duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Ability to effectively manage customer expectations and build loyal customer relationships
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • CRT experience and aptitude in learning how to access computer-based inventory and order status detail
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office for Windows and Excel
  • Based in assigned retail locations for the sale of Guerlain products
  • Availability must meet needs of the business
  • Must be able to work in a retail environment: light lifting, standing at counter

Responsibilities

  • Achieve retail sales goals or annual productivity goals and fragrance service to clients and develop client relationships to build repeat sales and brand loyalty.
  • Provide full-range customer service including product information, sales, and execution of all in-store events.
  • Ensure that all communications with customers are courteous, cordial, and professional.
  • Ensure that retail counter area and products are clean, well-organized and well-presented at all times.
  • Meet retail sales plan objectives and track productivity as determined by employer.
  • Answer and respond to customer requests regarding Guerlain and its product lines.
  • Provide consultation to customers for selection of cosmetic shades, skin treatment, makeup application, artistry, and fragrance.
  • Resolve customer issues or questions by telephone, text, or email, including research and preparation of reply correspondence.
  • Maintain client registration program, sustain customer relationships, and generate new business through regular communication.
  • Adhere to all policies and practices of the retailer.
  • Special projects and miscellaneous duties as dictated by the needs of the business.
  • Conduct all other job-related activities.
