About The Position
The Agricultural Department is looking for experienced seasonal full-time Beautification Mowing Crew members for grass cutting of hamlets and subdivisions, landscaping, herbicide application, weed identification, weed picking and other agricultural duties that may be required. This position will start immediately until October 30th, 2026. Weekends and Stat holidays off.
Requirements
- A valid Class 5 driver's license and acceptable driver's abstract
- 2 - 3 years of experience operating lawn maintenance equipment
- Physically capable of performing general outdoor labour duties
- May perform work in adverse weather conditions including heat, cold and inclement weather
- Ability to deal with members of the public in a professional manner
- Willingness to undertake training to meet operational requirements
- Team players with good interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Self-starter who can contribute positively to the team environment
- Reliable transportation to and from work
