About The Position

Cultivate Initiatives is a group dedicated to empowering individuals and communities through an inclusive range of services and support. They focus on building communities from the inside out via community engagement and action, workforce development, housing, and sheltering. This is a time-bound position, ending one year from the start date. Applicants must have completed the Cultivate Initiatives internship program to be considered for employment, and those who have already completed it will be prioritized.

Requirements

• Must have completed the Cultivate Initiatives internship program
• Ability to work in environments with varying noise levels, from quiet offices to louder, industrial settings
• Work requires the ability to perform manual labor requiring the full range of body movement
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing up to 30 pounds
• Must be able to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or religious exemption

Nice To Haves

• Applicants who have already completed the internship program will be prioritized.

Responsibilities

• Provide community beautification services such as graffiti removal, waste removal, and other services as requested
• Maintain safety of self, team, and surroundings while providing services
• Represent Cultivate Initiatives to various partners and community members
• Participate in meetings and trainings
• May participate in special projects and activities
• May perform other duties as requested by supervisor
