About The Position

Tahoe Donner Association is looking for fun and personable Beach Supervisors to join our Marina/Beach Club operations! The Marina Beach Supervisor is responsible for operating the rental of equipment, coordinating instruction and maintains the cleanliness of the facility and beach. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provides excellent customer service to customers, employees and business partners. Maintain a working knowledge of Marina rules, regulations, and policies, including those pertaining to: parking lot, equipment rentals, the waterline, the docks, the beach, and the swimming areas, and enforce the rules accordingly. Maintain a working knowledge of the Association rules and enforce them accordingly, including checking member passes and collecting money for the use of the facility. Provide customer service including fielding complaints, addressing customer problems and concerns, collecting money for lessons, rentals, retail sales, and food. Keep facility, including main building, parking lot, waterline, beach area, and bathrooms clean and free of hazards, debris, and trash. This aspect of the job often includes other custodial duties. Provide guidance and training to Marina employees. Report maintenance requests to Manager or Assistant Manager. Perform light maintenance as needed. Requirements

Demonstrates excellent communication and “People” skills; Must love dealing with people.
Able to work under inclement weather conditions.
Understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
Required to work weekends, holidays and evening shifts.
These skills and abilities are typically acquired through an associate’s degree and/or six months to one-year of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of formal training, education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform all of the duties of the position.

Nice To Haves

Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid certifications are recommended.
