Sea Colony Recreational, located in Bethany Beach, DE, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Beach Lifeguard! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. Requirements

• Must pass a Run and swim test.
• Must have Red Cross Lifeguarding before first day of work.
• Must pass EMR/First Responder certification (offered after hired).
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Knowledge of accepted sanitation standards and applicable health codes.
• H-2B visas are not eligible for this position. International J-1 applicants must be currently enrolled as students.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and observes swimmers at all times to ensure their safety.
• Administers first aid to minor injuries such as small cuts and bruises of swimmers.
• Enforces the rules of conduct.
• Checks the first aid supplies and reports needed items to management in a timely fashion.
• Maintains all necessary records determined by the department manager.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
