About The Position

The Beach Club Host will accommodate and greet guests with aloha, ensuring their seating arrangements are as requested and to the best of the company's ability. This role involves managing beach reservations, handling guest inquiries, and maintaining the host area. The position requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in various weather conditions, while maintaining knowledge of resort facilities and operations. Availability for all shifts and hours as required is essential.

Requirements

Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Ability to obtain Tuberculosis clearance.

Nice To Haves

High School education preferred.
Previous related experience preferred.
CPR and/or first aid certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet and accommodate guests with aloha, ensuring their seating arrangements are as requested.
Manage beach reservations using software, including upselling halau reservations.
Answer phones promptly and courteously, and handle guest inquiries professionally.
Set up floor plans, create guest profiles, and check menus for cleanliness.
Stock host area supplies and maintain a clean environment.
Use radio and wirekit for discreet communication with staff.
Sell beach club retail items when available.
Assist other team members as needed.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in various weather conditions.
Maintain knowledge of resort facilities and operations.
Be available for all shifts and hours as required.
