About The Position

Checkout.com is actively looking for an enthusiastic and talented BDR Lead to join our fast-growing team in New York. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a fundamental role in our rapid growth and expansion. If you are a motivated and driven individual who is excited at the prospect of building a team of Business Development Representatives across the US, this is the role for you. We are looking for a self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced and competitive environment and is excited about joining us at this pivotal point in our journey. This role sits within our Commercial function and partners closely with our Sales team. You will have the opportunity to work with global teams to bring the best merchants to Checkout.com and to add great value as we continue to grow.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in Business Development, preferably in the Payments space
  • Management experience
  • Passionate about technology
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Confident in stakeholder management
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise shifting workloads and responsibilities effectively
  • Self-motivated and driven
  • Fluent in English

Responsibilities

  • Managing and growing a team of BDRs
  • Mapping out key prospects
  • A hands-on approach (generating leads and cold-calling)
  • Collaborating with the Sales team
  • Stakeholder management
  • Being creative and thinking outside the box when approaching merchants
