About The Position

Moran Chevrolet in Clinton Township is seeking a BDC representative with excellent phone skills and email proficiency to work within our service repair department. We are one of the largest General Motors dealerships in the country and offer a large volume of email and phone leads. We offer a large base pay, sales incentives, Blue Cross Blue Shield, AFLAC, 401K, paid vacations and holidays. Successful candidate should possess excellent computer skills with proficiency in Office 365 and phone skills. We are willing to train the right person.

Requirements

  • Excellent phone, email, and written communication skills
  • Proficient with computers
  • Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor
  • Ability to schedule, confirm, and follow up on customer appointments
  • Comfortable handling high volumes of calls, emails, texts, and chats
  • Detail-oriented and organized; able to maintain accurate customer records
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in Office 365
  • Previous experience in a BDC, automotive, or service department setting is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Answer customer questions via phone, email, chat, and text
  • Schedule and confirm service appointments
  • Follow up with past customers and prospect new customers
  • Work lead manifests and maintain accurate customer records in the database
  • Maintain and update the dealership’s customer and lead database
  • Provide excellent customer service to enhance the dealership experience
