About The Position

Thomas Nissan of Joliet is actively hiring Business Development Representatives (BDC) to help support our rapidly growing sales department. This is a great opportunity for individuals with experience in customer service, call centers, appointment setting, collections, hospitality, retail sales, or any position that requires strong communication skills. Automotive experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right people. If you enjoy talking with people, building relationships, and helping customers, this could be the perfect career opportunity.

Requirements

  • Strong phone and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Call center, collections, retail, hospitality, or appointment-setting experience is a plus
  • Automotive experience is a plus but not required
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound internet leads, phone calls, and customer inquiries
  • Schedule appointments for the sales department
  • Follow up with customers regarding their vehicle interests
  • Confirm and manage daily appointments
  • Maintain accurate customer information in the CRM
  • Communicate professionally through phone, text, and email
  • Help create an exceptional customer experience before the customer arrives at the dealership
