Requirements

  • 10+ years of recruitment agency / executive search experience, ideally within APAC.
  • Previous experience managing or mentoring recruitment consultants.
  • Strong 360° recruitment and business development track record.
  • Proven ability to win new clients and generate recruitment revenue.
  • Strong knowledge of the China and wider APAC recruitment market.
  • Experience developing and managing relationships with Chinese clients.
  • Strong commercial, negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and grow a business.
  • Comfortable managing a geographically distributed team.
  • Fluent English and Mandarin Chinese.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the recruitment growth strategy across China, Hong Kong and Singapore.
  • Identify and win new clients across the region.
  • Build strong relationships with CEOs, Founders, HR Directors, Talent Acquisition leaders and other senior decision-makers.
  • Develop strategic relationships with Chinese companies and multinational organizations.
  • Identify opportunities to support Chinese companies expanding into other Asian and international markets.
  • Negotiate recruitment agreements, fees and commercial terms.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Represent the company at relevant networking events and within the APAC business community.
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of 3–4 Recruitment Consultants located across China mainland, Hong Kong and Singapore.
  • Set individual and team revenue, business development and recruitment objectives.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, pipeline meetings and coaching sessions.
  • Support consultants in winning clients, managing key accounts and closing recruitment assignments.
  • Recruit and onboard additional consultants as the APAC business grows.
  • Build a high-performance, collaborative and commercially driven recruitment culture.
  • Personally manage strategic clients and senior recruitment assignments.
  • Lead searches from client briefing through sourcing, interviews, offer negotiation and placement.
  • Develop long-term relationships with key regional accounts.
  • Advise clients on talent availability, compensation, recruitment strategy and market trends.
  • Ensure a high level of service and delivery across the team.
