About The Position

The BCP Sales & Financing Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the dealership’s sales team and Caterpillar Finance related to equipment financing. This role involves working directly with Sales Representatives and Caterpillar Financial on financed machine packages, processing quotes, submitting them for credit approval, and coordinating with credit analysts to gather necessary documentation. The coordinator also prepares and reviews finance documents, monitors the financing process for timely completion, and supports the participation process by evaluating and submitting lost sales. Additionally, this position is responsible for sales invoicing and maintaining support claims for all Building Construction Products (BCP). The role also includes supporting the Sales Department by answering phones, assisting walk-in customers, ensuring accurate delivery reporting, assisting management with projects, tracking and reporting on machine performance metrics, and cross-training within the Sales Department.

Requirements

Must be able to read, write and understand English.
Must be able to listen and follow instructions.
Must be able to type, be able to use a computer and have basic knowledge of copy and fax machines.
Must understand intermediate math and be able to evaluate numbers.
Telecommunications skills are required to report results to salesmen and management.
Basic knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
Training or experience with Excel required.
Keyboard, telephone skills, knowledge of PC and mainframe computers, operating copy, fax machines, and general office equipment.
Experience with Word, Power Point, Outlook and Excel.
Experience in project development & completion.

Responsibilities

Work directly with Sales Representatives and Caterpillar Financial on financed machine packages.
Process quotes through CapitalStream and communicate financial proposals to the sales team.
Submit quotes to CAT Finance for credit approval.
Coordinate with Caterpillar Finance credit analysts to prepare loan reports and gather documentation for credit approval.
Review and submit finance documents to CAT Finance for approval and funding.
Prepare documentation for loan packages and send to sales representatives or customers for signatures.
Monitor CAT finance quotes, credit submissions, and funding for timely responses and completion.
Support the Participation process by evaluating and submitting lost sales to APEX.
Perform sales invoicing and maintain support claims for BCP.
Answer telephones and assist walk-in customers.
Ensure accurate delivery reporting on Sales, Rental, and Machine Demos.
Assist Department Management with additional projects.
Track and report on machines and other performance metrics aligned with Sales Department initiatives.
Cross-train with other areas in the Sales Department to assist where needed.
