About The Position

Basalite Building Products, LLC is seeking a Wet Cast Operator to support secondary operations of block production, including splitting, cutting, grinding, blasting, and tumbling. This role involves working in a team environment to meet daily secondary operation needs, often rotating tasks to support the production schedule. The operator will ensure proper machine functionality, production efficiency, and verify product quality, while upholding the company's Core Values. This position operates under general supervision and performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Requires basic math, reading and writing skills.
On-the-job training experience is required to be able to perform duties.
Ability to operate demolder, vacuum lift, forklift and any other equipment required to perform duties.
Predictable and Regular attendance is required.
Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Nice To Haves

Production line experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Operates forklift and demolder and batching system in an efficient and safe manner.
Checks molds for wear and proper coloring.
Keeps track of inventory products for production.
Feeds production line.
Accurately fills out daily wet cast reports.
Supervises and delegates duties to subordinates.
Checks blocks for proper quality (color, chipping).
Cleans up work area.
Abides by all safety rules set forth by the company and governmental regulatory agencies; and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
All other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time by the company or its designated representatives.

Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
