About The Position

Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Full-time/Part-time • Rogers, AR • Sunshine School & Development Center At Sunshine School & Development Center, we believe in shattering limitations and helping every child shine their brightest. We are seeking a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide leadership within our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program. This role is central to ensuring that students and families receive high-quality, individualized support and services.

Requirements

Credentialed BCBA (Behavior Analysis Certification Board).
Experience supervising RBTs and exam candidates.

Credentialed with the Behavior Analysis Certification Board as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Experience leading and supervising RBTs and exam candidates.
Experience utilizing screening and assessment tools to ascertain client needs and identify appropriate interventions.
Experience with program implementation and evaluation.
Must be able to work in a constant state of alertness and concentrate for long periods of time.
Regularly required to talk or hear.
The employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers; handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must often lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Background clearance from the Arkansas State Police.

Responsibilities

Supervise and lead a team of RBTs, ensuring evidence-based, individualized treatment.
Create and oversee individualized ABA treatment plans.
Implement interventions such as one-on-one therapy, family treatment, group instruction, and classroom consultation.
Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary staff to support progress across environments.
Monitor student progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and provide staff/family training.
Screen incoming referrals and current students to determine program eligibility.
Complete comprehensive evaluations
Collaborate with students’ families to recommend interventions needed and next steps.
Oversee evidence-based ABA treatment implementation.
Design and implement data collection techniques and procedures.
Monitor qualifying children’s progress and make modifications as needed to facilitate progress.
Collaborate with the students’ teams to provide clinical recommendations for Individual Treatment Plans.
Consult with families and other staff to generalize skills across environments.
Provide training and education for key staff and families.
Meet regularly with manager and other key staff as needed.
Provide input on the program direction to meet mission and financial objectives.
Track, monitor, and report on the ABA program impact to key staff, as assigned.
Assist manager in conducting a program evaluation.
Complete a minimum of 15 hours of continuing education yearly based upon an individual staff development plan updated annually and professional licensing requirements.
