About The Position

The Clinical Director of Enhanced Behavior Support Service Center is a Full-Time Salaried Exempt Employee Role. The center operates from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday. The compensation range is $100,000-$125,000, determined by service provided, professional experience, and license/certifications held. This role is based in New Hyde Park, NY.

Requirements

  • Must be a New York State Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Valid Driver License.
  • Minimum of seven years of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
  • Minimum of three years supervisory experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified NYS Special Education Teacher is a plus.
  • Certification and experience in Crisis Management (e.g., PMT, CPI) preferred.
  • Previous experience in a director role is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manages teammates at center location by providing ongoing supervision, mentorship, and leadership to all staff.
  • Oversees all students onsite at the alternative location by providing on-going consultation with clinical staff, behavior technicians, and related service providers.
  • Oversees student’s assessments (e.g., FBA, ABLLS, VB-MAPP), creation of individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP), and development of IEP goals.
  • Oversees and assists in continued development and implementation of staff training program.
  • Conduct interviewing and hiring of new staff.
  • Manages the schedule, supervision, and evaluation of teams.
  • Provides BCBA/LBA and RBT supervision while assisting with continued supervision curriculum development.
  • Communicates and collaborates with School Districts regarding student intakes, CSE meetings, evaluations, assessments, school closings/emergencies, transitions, etc.
  • Communicates and collaborates with parents including providing and overseeing parent trainings.
  • Oversees the integrity of the physical space including reporting any building maintenance concerns.
  • Oversees the ordering of materials for center on a monthly basis staying within the monthly budget.
  • Travel to and working from other locations as assigned to assist learners who are transitioning from interim placement to district placement.
  • Manages budget and oversees the responsibilities for the profit and loss of the center services.
  • Supporting safe environment for staff and learners utilizing PMT strategies during crisis.
