About The Position

Civitas Health Services is restructuring its ABA program across the Richmond Metro and Hampton Roads regions with the goal of building the best ABA program in the country. This program will be evidence-based, driven by data collection, graphed and charted outcomes, ISP-driven planning, and strict regulatory compliance. We are seeking a BCBA who is skilled in both clinical practice and program building to lead this transformation. This is a unique role with a reduced service-hour expectation, allowing the BCBA to focus on designing, deploying, and running the operational backbone of the ABA program. The BCBA will collaborate closely with the Healthcare Administrator in weekly meetings, tracking program metrics, utilization, and initiatives, and translating data into actionable plans. This position is remote within Virginia and can be either part-time or full-time.

Requirements

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing.
  • Licensed or license-eligible as an LBA in Virginia.
  • Demonstrated strength in program operations, program development, or clinical systems.
  • Experience supervising RBTs and supporting technicians through certification.
  • Fluency in data collection systems, aggregation, analysis, and visual presentation of client outcomes.
  • Working knowledge of Virginia DMAS/Medicaid ABA requirements and utilization standards.
  • Exceptional organization and communication skills.
  • Comfortable co-owning program operations with administrative leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • RBT supervision program experience strongly preferred.
  • Joint Commission experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • RBT supervision, training & credentialing program development and management.
  • Building and running the internal pipeline for RBT certification, including candidates hired before certification, certification maintenance and renewal tracking, and an ongoing training curriculum.
  • Designing and deploying clinical programming and monitoring overall program function across both regions.
  • Partnering with the Healthcare Administrator on program oversight, group scheduling, vendor and third-party collaborator management, and weekly metrics-driven coordination meetings.
  • Maintaining a partial caseload with own billing, assisting with initial assessments and reassessments, monthly and quarterly ISP reviews, and weekly care coordination and outreach.
  • Ensuring services align with Virginia DMAS/Medicaid regulations, the BACB Ethics Code, and Joint Commission accreditation standards, with outcomes demonstrated through graphs and charts.
