Requirements

Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or related human services field
BCBA/LBA
Must be able to work independently and maintain a professional yet friendly demeanor
Must have a compatible device (iPad, Laptop etc.) to use for electronic notes

Responsibilities

Supervise ABA providers to ensure correct implementation of programs and behavior management tactics
Maintain contact with parents in a positive and professional manner, ensuring timely responses to all caregiver questions and/or concerns
Observe all cases on a monthly basis (center and/or home based)
Conduct assessments and develop programs for all new clients
Write progress reports and IEP goals
Review program books on a weekly basis (monitor and analyze data, revise instructional tactics as needed, add short term objectives as needed, implement new programming)
Develop behavior plans as needed
Create, prepare, and organize teaching materials for each client on caseload
Provides clinical supervision for assigned therapists to meet the requirements for the BCBA , LBA, RBT and/or BCaBA
Participate in IEP meetings and/or hearings as needed
Collaborate with related service providers and/or the clients classroom providers to ensure consistency
Engage and use Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) holds/transport or disengagement tactics for students during behavioral episodes. This may mean physically intervening after being trained thoroughly, to help deescalate children when they become a danger to themselves or others.
