About The Position

Cirba Solutions is a battery solution partner focused on battery recycling, processing, material upgrading, and contributing to the circular economy. The Battery Technician EV Teardown safely and completely disassembles electric vehicle batteries for further processing on the Lithium Line. The company provides opportunities for employee training and growth.

This position works from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Requirements

• Frequently lift 10–40 pounds individually and over 40 pounds with a team member.
• Forklift experience.
• Basic electrical experience.
• Ability to operate equipment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Attention to detail.
• Teamwork and communication skills.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Follow warehouse safety procedures and processes, making health and safety the top priority.
• Set up equipment daily.
• Inspect electrical tools and PPE daily.
• Teardown electric vehicle batteries for processing according to standard operating procedures.
• Sort battery components into the correct storage containers.
• Label containers for storage and shipment.
• Comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
