Battery Service Technician (Road Technician)
About The Position
Carolina Industrial Products is seeking to hire a full-time Battery Service Technician to repair industrial forklift batteries and chargers in the field. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with excellent customer service skills looking to build a successful, long-term career. The position offers a starting pay of $22-$28/hour, a company vehicle, and potential for regular increases and bonuses. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, 9 paid holidays, paid vacation time, 40 hours of paid sick time annually, and a SIMPLE IRA plan with a company match. Technicians are provided with a service truck and uniforms.
Requirements
- Mechanical/electrical aptitude
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and DOT physical
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer service skills
- Exceptional critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to follow safety protocols
