About The Position

Aramark at SYGMA is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Battery Room Technician to join our team in Danville, IL. This position plays an important role in supporting warehouse operations by maintaining and servicing industrial equipment batteries to ensure safe and efficient operation throughout the facility.

Requirements

Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Must be able to follow safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks

Nice To Haves

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing.
This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities

Fill industrial equipment batteries with water according to maintenance schedules
Remove and replace batteries for warehouse equipment as needed
Inspect batteries and charging equipment for proper operation
Monitor battery charging cycles and ensure equipment is functioning safely
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the battery room
Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
Report equipment issues or maintenance concerns to management
Assist with other warehouse support duties as assigned
