About The Position

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Battery processor is responsible for operating the battery processing line, data entry and forklift movements. This is a safety sensitive position. Requirements

  • Completion of secondary school
  • Must be able to perform labour intensive duties (i.e. heavy lifting is required)
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Physical strength is required for manual material handling materials
  • Long standing, walking and some minimal climbing of ladders and stairs
  • Wearing and maintenance of required PPE including respirator mask
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a larger team environment
  • Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and electronically
  • Successful completion of a drug and alcohol test
  • Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift experience an asset

Responsibilities

  • Processing batteries
  • Transport raw materials, scrap and recyclable materials throughout plant using a forklift
  • Data entry using Microsoft Excel and Greentrax
  • Clean work areas and equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
