About The Position

This role involves performing preventative maintenance on a variety of powered industrial equipment batteries. The work must adhere to company policy, federal, state, and local regulations, repair manuals, factory specifications, and the technician's own knowledge. The position also includes assisting in other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old (or 19 for positions in Alabama).
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
• Ability to obtain certification and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Ability to read, write, and solve math problems.
• Successfully complete the following tests before start date: Computation, Following Written Directions, Space Visualization, Mechanical Aptitude.
• Ability to interpret, understand, and follow instructions.
• Capable of generating and processing work on a computerized maintenance-management system.
• Ability to work well with others and be a team member.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Willingness and ability to advance.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated individual.
• Safe work habits.
• Obvious enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work, and a commitment to the company and its mission.
• Current Industrial Maintenance associate.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and authorization to drive a company vehicle on or before start date.

Responsibilities
