About The Position

Responsible for the preventive maintenance of building mechanical systems and equipment on a scheduled and occasional basis. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community and school clientele.

Requirements

High School or Equivalent (Required)
Backflow Prevention Certification - ASSE
Constant lifting five (5) to twenty (20) pounds.
Frequent lifting twenty (20) to fifty (50) pounds.
Occasional lifting over fifty (50) pounds.
Frequent climbing stairs and ladders.
Constant bending, squatting, standing, reaching, sitting, walking, kneeling, crawling, stooping, repetitive motions.
Frequent overhead work.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment and systems, such as motor lubrication, filters, pumps, belts, valves, etc.
Inspect all systems and equipment on a regular basis.
Make determinations on necessary preventive maintenance activities.
Coordinate preventive maintenance activities with other trades.
Makes recommendations for purchase of equipment and supplies.
Maintain necessary records and reports.
May be responsible for maintenance of back flow systems.
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
