About The Position

The Battery and Charger Tech troubleshoots, diagnoses, repairs, and performs planned maintenance on industrial batteries and chargers at customer locations. The role also involves maintaining a service van and its inventory and processing paperwork after each job.

Requirements

• Less than 2 years of related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Technical degree.
• Previous battery and charger repair experience.
• Welding skills.
• Knowledge of various types of testing equipment.
• Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good customer care skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial batteries and chargers.
• Perform assigned planned maintenance on customer industrial batteries and chargers.
• Maintain a service van and its inventory.
• Process paperwork after completing each job.
