About The Position

Batching Prep will be responsible for preparing ingredients to be used in various recipes. Schedule: Monday–Fridays; Start time is 6:00 AM year-round, with a varying end time. Occasionally changes to work schedule may occur due to production or training needs.

Requirements

  • Safety conscious
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), 1-3 months of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Ability to read and comprehend documentation in English including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Utilize calculators to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to obtain forklift and/or pallet jack license.
  • Ability to lift and/or carry occasionally up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and follow MGK HACCP, SQF, SOP, and SSOP programs.
  • Learn and follow all Food Safety procedures.
  • Wear all required personal protective equipment.
  • Read and follow recipe to gather all required ingredients in specified amounts.
  • Prepare, measure, and weigh ingredients for assigned recipe and station.
  • Verify ingredient quality and notify assigned Supervisor and Quality Control if there are quality questions and/or concerns.
  • Track and record all lot numbers on tracking sheets.
  • Label containers per required procedures.
  • Support inventory tracking efforts.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
